Who says you can’t erase the past?
Long after dropping the hyphenate, Eva Longoria is excising the remaining traces of her marriage to San Antonio Spurs baller Tony Parker—she’s having her Tony-celebrating tattoos removed!
Sources tell E! News that she is undergoing the multiple treatments it takes to fully remove permanent ink, which in Longoria’s case include the word “Nine” (Parker’s jersey number) on her neck, her wedding date on her wrist and his initials…somewhere.
What a difference a year makes, right?
Last January, the Desperate Housewives star wrote on Facebook, “Nothing is being removed, although I am always up for more tattoos!”
But maybe her current fellow, Eduardo Cruz, didn’t want to share real estate on his girlfriend’s skin—in case she decides to commemorate their romance in an inky fashion, that is.
According to TMZ, Cruz accompanied Longoria to an appointment at a Dr. Tattoff clinic, but the actress’ reps would not comment on the report.
Longoria filed for divorce from Parker in November 2010 after more than three years of marriage.

Eva Longoria’s Desperate Housewives character is ready to do a little bit of detective work.
When the hit ABC series returns to finish out its winter season January 8, Longoria’s Gaby grills her “pathetic booze-hound” husband, Carlos, (Ricardo Chavira) for details surrounding the death of Detective Chuck Vance.
“After you checked out of rehab, you got in the car. Where did you go?” she implores him in this exclusive preview clip from Sunday’s episode.
Unable — or unwilling — to recall the events of his prior night out, Carlos plays coy with Gaby. “Chuck’s dead and you think I did it?!” he shoots back.
“You were upset and drinking. He was hit on Lake Street. That’s only a few blocks from the rehab center,” Gaby tells him. “The police are looking for witnesses, trying to find the car.”
Watch more of the video above as Gaby concocts what she believes to be a foolproof plan to see if her hubby could be caught red-handed.
The full episode of Desperate Housewives airs January 8 at 9 p.m. (EST) on ABC.

Eva Longoria didn’t fare well on the breakup diet.
In the January issue of Health, the 36-year-old Desperate Housewives star actress says the stress of her split with Tony Parker resulted in unwanted weight loss.
“I remember after my divorce, I was so thin and everyone kept saying how great I looked. It was probably the most unhealthy place I’ve ever been. So it was funny what people would see as ‘healthy,’” Longoria says. “In my worst time, people were saying I’ve never looked better. [But now] I have a great diet and exercise routine.”
“I like weight training and abs. I hate the elliptical,” she tells Health. “I despise cardio. I just can’t do it. So I try to do my cardio within the workout.”
The self-proclaimed “hopeless optimist” says it didn’t take long to get over Parker, 29.
“It’s so funny, because I don’t get depressed,” says the star (currently dating Eduardo Cruz). “Even after my divorce, everybody was like, ‘Wow, you bounced back so quick.’ I was like, ‘I am not letting this take over. Something great is around the corner — I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen.’”
